This was a project that I started to work on back near the end of December of 2019. I've been watching a video on YouTube for making sock paws and thought I would try and make a pair for Sparky. A number of events where I take Sparky are indoors and I figured that these could give him a little more freedom than his current feet paws. One such event where I had Sparky required socks only. Fortunately Sparky was the exception. My concern was trying to find the right colour of fleece. The fleece on Sparky's current feet paws is not the same colour of fleece that was initially used. Having my communications severed to the maker didn't help much to assist either. Fortunately I finally manged to find a very close match to the colour of fleece that I need. I just needed to order some cherry red seal from CR's Crafts and some claws. Templates were made from the original feet paws. All the stitching was painstakingly done by hand. No sewing machine involved! Many hours were put into these. For the toe claws I wanted to use the nubby claws by Dream Vision Creations and then decided to make my own from this black fabric that worked pretty good. All parts made of fleece are triple layered. Batting is sandwiched between the layers of fleece. I'm quite pleased with how well they turned out. So for those wondering who made Sparky's new sock paws. I made them!
