Hah yes they actually are I got a weird set of markers that have a lot of greys in it so a lot of the time I go over a color with a shade of grey. Also with prismacolor I like them a lot because when the first coat dries you can go over it again and the shade becomes just slightly darker ^^ you're really into art styles aren't ya heehee
