Decided to do a re-render/solo pic of Jayson in his Imperial Navy fighter pilot uniform from the series of pics I did earlier; fixing one or two issues and tweaking some things to make details a bit more prominent. Hopefully now the squadron color bands on his shoulders, command stripe and rank plaque on the chest come out a bit better. As said previously; took one or two liberties with the uniform design as there hasn't really been one set out for the non-flightsuit version of Imperial pilots. Also gave him Expanse-style magnetic boots since well; I just think the idea is practical, call it my Starfox fondness showing a bit as well.
Decided to go with Kuat and its orbital ring in the background; image from a copy of the Star Wars Atlas. Was going to use the squadron symbol I designed for him under his feet, but got inspired by reminiscing about the GOOD Star Wars battlefront and made a semi-transparent Empire of the Hand sigil instead.

Hehe thanks a lot Lig; glad the details came out a bit better in this render. And agreed; not to mention most Im perial fighters lack environmentals on board so the mag boots might just be a good idea to have.
Hehe; the dissonance would probably put any enemy off their guard pretty quick out of the gate *chuckles*

In the old EU version of Star Wars where-in the Empire was less cartoonishly portrayed: some of the empire's scariest admirals and aces were women. Ysanne Isard; the admiral in charge of Imperial Intelligence and Natasi Daala; the admiral in charge of the Empire's Maw research labs for instance.
