I do believe that it's a lot of fun. But I have doubts that it's worth the cost. Compared to learning an instrument for real. And I don't only talk about the price to purchase the gear rather than investing time in improving your skills at these plastic guitars, drumkits, whatever (Maybe the singin part would be rather easy for me but anyway) I just can't imagine that playing such a game could be more interesting and fun than playing such things for real.
Well, that's my point of view.^^

I can understand, thats why it's best just to buy the software and a Mic. That way, you have the best part, for the least cost.
I can see where you are coming from though. The singing part of the game is actually really accurate, so its good for vocal practice.
You have a good point, playing fake instruments isn't nearly an eighth as good as real instruments, and as such, I only play on vocals.
I just got the entire package for my friends.

Oh nostalgia! This takes me back! Well, not all that far, but I did a parody of Bohemian Rhapsody: Bohemian Cutlery a few years ago. Nice to hear a new rendition of BR.
