I need to stop naming my art after songs/lyrics.

A week too late, here is the final design for the Anthro version of Tanuki!Rigby!
I was fighting with how I wanted him to look on paper. I didn't want him to look fully like his Feral form, but more like Human!Rigby. Sort of a mixture, perhaps. But, I was unsure if I liked the way he looked. I felt really, really unsure with his design for a while now.

I didn't know if I wanted to keep him, which is what I was worried about. But, I wanted someone to represent me, instead of being "who I wish I was" like Pierrot. But, I just feel general disphoria with my overall appearance irl, so that might be why I need some kind of perfect "me, but not me" right now.

I did notice how I love my avatar in AC, so that's been a big influence on his looks. But, basically, I've been fighting myself on making him look like that internal image.

Another issue arose: I wanted him to resemble an anime character, gee I wonder why... *BNA slowly fades in* -and, it was complicated trying to apply that to my style. It's one thing to use anime cues like sweat drops or those anger-throbby-lines, it's another to give your character that flair, when your style is clearly Western inspired.

Long story short, as usual, tinkering on FireAlpaca fixed all my problems. 🙄

Did I ever mention the true reason I disliked Superman for the longest? It's drawing that DAMN S. I'm kidding of course, but it was still a headache. I'm surprised it looks so good, though!

I'm sad I forgot what my (currently) dirty Batman jacket looked like when drawing it, I would have remembered the bat being YELLOW, not black. XD I'll change it in post, unless it looks good this way. 🤷

I finally made a character who drinks! Probably waaaaaay too much, knowing me. XD
(I personally hate alcohol irl, but don't mind when cartoons do it. However, Pierrot and Di both are sober themselves (somehow)).

I also plastered his other form down there, so you'll know what the rest of his body looks like (I'm too lazy to/sometimes can't link another ref.)

I'm sorry my work output has been worse lately, I was supposed to be practicing with my tablet, but my drive and energy is getting worse. (I know I keep making excuses for everything, I'm just a mess of a person, forgive me.) I wish there was a way to draw with a pen like I do on paper, but digitally, so I could upload it online-
