This is to help keep the memory of my old Boxer, Maggie alive, we had to put her down because her allergies to almost everything in Michigan made her scratch so hard on her face she pulled an ear and an eye off, God I miss her. Keep the memory going and they'll never truly be gone, I do the same with all the pets I've had over the years, even my first fish Inky, immortalized by randomly appearing in my artwork. I think this is a lovely picture and a nice way to keep her with you in your heart.
It's always good to keep your pet's memory alive. I lost my 11-year old kitty in January and his sister still seems like she's looking for him. It is hard to loose a pet but at times, it is better to let them go than to let them have pain. It is a very difficult thing and as long as you remember her and keep her in your heart, she will always be with you.
