So I was watching the Animatrix short "The Second Renaissance" and the battle scene grabbed my interest. I really, really liked the designs of the Machines. Then, while watching the laser/pry open a combat suit, something crossed my mind.

"What if those weren't Machine manipulators, but tentacles?"

I then decided it that those Machines would be awesome as an exosuit for some sort of freaky tentacle species. This is the result. Ten tentacles, seven eyes, two clawed arms on the head for fine manipulation/thumbs.

If it was inside one of the machines, the big spherical part would be cupped against that tail/spike it has.
