She... is not tiny like a replicator.
She's basically a roving town. https://www.furaffinity.net/gallery/butterfly-dragon/folder/764128/P4N-D024-AKA-Pandora-Living-City/
One day i will get to have her story drawn like all the other comics that i am posting in my gallery...
...for now? You get to see her plans. 😉👍💖

I can't find a clip of it but in Titan AE when Gune the wacky engineer is first introduced he has a device with a button that he wants to press but doesn't know what it will do. I remember because throughout the whole movie I was expecting that button to be the miracle McGuffin that ultimately saves the day .. (like Chekhov's Gun, you don't draw the audience's attention to a thing like that unless it's going to pay off later.)
BUT THE BUTTON WAS NEVER MENTIONED AGAIN

I saw someone build a Lego model of something similar, as part of a forum contest. It was a walled castle and village compound, with a third 'pedipalp' arm which was a shuttle from the gatehouse to the ground
As a Ghost in the Shell joke, I know it by the name "Kingdom Koma."

Oooh! that's a nice pun.
But no, she is big but not that big, as a city she can house """"only""""" 1500 people (canonically) so she is basically """"just"""" an overcomplicated small sized cruise ship.
Most of her space tho is occupied by the engine (which doubles as her brain) and the workshops.
The housing spaces are the ones visible above the suspensions, everything under the suspensions can feel all of the engine and the machinery at work so it is much less livable but it is also where all the working places are.
The chest is mainly a fuel processing zone so that is where all the weird stuff she puts in her mouth gets basically either shot out shotgun-style as unprocessable debris or reduced to artificial coal or flammable liquids.
After years of neglect she is basically nearly mindless and she does not know how she works and most of her drones are blocked. She only knows hunger soooo she pretty much picking up trees and shoving them in her mouth like a cavewoman.
Then one of her drones gets reactivated by a random event and that leads her to acknowledge that there is more to the landscape below her.
Then she gets blocked in a landfall and she goes to actually seek humans so that they can repair her, since she vaguely recalls she was built by humans.
Aaand yeah then we have a somewhat sped up story of rediscovery and innovation.
The humans were pretty much tribal people too, but once they start exploring her. they actually start getting a grasp of what their ancestors could do, and from there civilization gets re-kickstarted at a much faster pace.

Oh! I tried to move this... guess I ran out of time.
Maybe. Fuchikomas and Tachikomas had those voices. But I can't remember how the Uchikomas sound. And tanks like the Kenbishi HAW-206 and that German model the Major fought in the manga and 1995 movie had no voice, because they were only intended to operate in a manned capacity.
It was an old event from Brothers-Brick, a "Koma Contest". But you could find the pictures, although maybe not under the name I used.

I'm pretty sure the Uchikomas were actually a third design class. They didn't quite look like either of the others, and the Fuchikomas had speaking roles in the vintage PS1 game which made them sound like Tachis.
I managed to secure a copy of that game around 2005 without using e-commerce. It was a minor release over in the US so that quite a coup, given where I live. The title animation first popularized Kusanagi's "Hard Drive" costume variant. It was kinda pervy; she was getting the 'panting hots' tapped into the live data feeds during a Fuchikoma live-ammo battle test. But there's more pervyness to Masamune then even readers of the original, unedited GITS manga tend to know.
Didja know her first and last name mean "Resourceful child" and "Grasscutter" respectively? Although a more relatable metaphor to Western ears for the latter might be 'Scythe'. This is reason the manga intro scene says it's 'obviously an alias': it fits what she does far too perfectly to be a coincidence.
