I love that there's an aura where there are no stars around them - absolutely helps set the mood

i wanted to show that effect, and be explicit that i wasn't just being lazy.

it was a lot more dramatic in the dream because the night sky went completely dark when they were around. the effect of them coming and going was like losing all your night vision, and having it come back.
