I'm doing a series on my comic of the various Cubi Clan Leaders. And I figured I'd post slightly larger versions on FA for anyone who really wanted to see em.
This one in particular is from:

It was inevitable that Cyra was gonna show up sooner or later. A lot of people asked if I was going to even mention her since it was more than likely going to indicate a few spoilers regarding stuff in the comic. But yeah, I figured in the end it would seem a lot more tacky leaving out characters just because their info may have a spoiler or two.
Some will probably note this version looks different from the grand appearance back in the comic. Which was intentional.
Ugh god...when this is all over I'm going to have a new hand-hate for wings. So many narfing wings...what was I thinking...

Well it is noted in the background materials that at one point it was much, much easier for `Cubi to ascend to Tri-Wing status, then all of a sudden for some reason it got much.. much harder. ..as if someone turned-off a tap.
My personal theory is that the `Cubi were consciously or unconsciously deriving power from a source that Dragons claimed stewardship over (which doesn't preclude that source being dragons themselves.) and so the dragons cut them off.
Sad to hear the speculation of Destania and Dan being the only members of Cyra's clan still alive being confirmed.. still it raises questions, if the clan is so small why did Dark Pegasus think the possibility of an alliance with Clan Cyra was such a big deal?

My guess on an alliance with Cyra's clan being a big deal is that Cyras is likely one of the few clans which could actually need outside assistance while still having the strength to pop Dark Pegasus like a zit.Plus if I was him i might be getting bored of getting killed by the clans most harmless member by now n.n.
I guess it's no big surprise that someone so beautiful would be Our Lady of Pain. I honestly don't think you've created much in the way of spoilers with the info, more like teasers; tantalizing hints of what might be or might what have happened that are going to have folks speculating and guessing all over the place.
And as Cougr noted to me...is it any surprise, Dan and able are friends? Pain and Misery.

Ambar, I know this is going to sound weird for me asking this, but why aren't there any MALE cubi clan leaders? Don't get me wrong, love the ladies. I'm just wondering the reason for all the pics thusfar being female. Wouldn't a wise councel actually have both genders to equal everything else out in the councel chambers when they get into disputes?

Her bio makes me wonder why she was in such a hurry to get triwing status that shed risk her own life and her entire clan,risking the extinction of the rest of her species i can accept because hey who wants to share demigod powers anyway?
