With the current pandemic going around, Patreon is probably one of the best ways to be supporting artists right now. At the same time, I know there are a ton of people who are having a difficult time being stuck inside, so I’ve been thinking of ways to help those who need to keep their minds off of stress. I’m trying something a little different here!
For at least the remainder of the year, I will be making monthly Patreon “Creature Concept” posts, where I go over some ideas for building the world of the adoptables (Animantia Arcana). Normally, art development (WIP) posts are reserved for the $10 Myth Maker tier, but I’m opening up this to all tiers! Meaning, with just a $1 donation, you’ll be able to read that month’s post, plus whatever posts I had made prior to that. You’d be helping me out in a time where I’m feeling a bit financially uncertain, plus I’m hoping this helps a lot of people who just need to delve into a world that is… not the confines of their house.
This is going to be great for the adoptables as well. This world is dancing vividly in my head right now, but I have been in a mode where I can only focus on the most urgent things. This gives a good reason to be getting these ideas on paper! Oh, and believe me, there’s way more material with this world to work on than -just- the remaining months of the year. We’ll see how these first months go, but if a lot of people are interested, I’m happy to keep it going beyond that.
Plans this year have really been tossed out the window, and/or will need a lot of flexibility. So stay tuned, more news to come!
