Four years after her initial drawing, I finally decided to ask Yamidog (https://www.furaffinity.net/user/yamidog), who drew the first drawing of her, to do a character sheet of her. Amanda wasn't the first character I created but she's my most favorite.

Built like a teenager because, well, she is one.
I couldn't read her specifications so I went to Yamidog's Amanda Fuchs Reference Sheet. Tall for her weight, but like I said, teenager. Her muzzle is broad from the front, like a Tiger's would be, but in profile it's more Vulpine.

Well, the profile drawing is of an alternate universe Amanda. In the AU, Amanda is more fox-like than in the one in the story. She even has a tail which our universe's Amanda doesn't have. Amanda's body shape is a combination of tiger and fox (tiger height and fox weight).
I'm going to try to download another version of this character sheet. I'm going to download the sheet from Yamidog's page and see if that corrects the problem. If it works, I'll delete this page and use that one instead.

Well, I like the way she looked in my head and Yamidog drew her almost exactly as I see her. I've always been fond of foxes and tigers so, when I decided I needed a love interest in the story she's in, I just combined both species and came up with her backstory stating how, even though she's, technically, a full-blood red fox, she looks so much like a tigress.
Gotta love hybrid animals, especially the impossible ones. The amount of species to make are endless. I'm glad to hear your full-blooded red fox that resembles a lot like a tigress ended up the way you imagine in your head and Yamidog mamanged to make draw it the way you see this fursona. ^_^
Well, technically, she isn't a hybrid. In her species, Humanimal, the different types of animals, foxes, wolves, bears, rabbits, etc. are the equivalent of human races and, because of this, can interbreed. If, for example, a fox and a tiger were to marry, their children would be half-fox/half-tiger. If one of those children married a fox, the tiger genes would become recessive and the fox genes would become dominant. If another youngster married a tiger, the tiger genes would be dominant and the fox would be recessive. But, both sets of young would carry the genes of both races and, eventually, they could show back up if one of the descendents happened to marry, say a fox, who also had tiger ancestry. That's rather simplified but, I believe it gets the idea across.
Thanks. Yamidog is a fantastic artist and she seems to have an ability to know what a commissioner is looking for. Here's the original drawing of Amanda she did for me 4 years ago. https://www.furaffinity.net/view/19453974/ Yes, it's my icon. When I commissioned Yamidog to draw the first drawing of Amanda, I sent her the description and she said she wished all commissioners were as detailed in their descriptions of their characters as I had been with Amanda. In fact, the only thing we had to change was the pose. (Although I did use her original pose for Amanda in a later commission.)
Eet ees an AU, Amanda. LOL. The tail goes with the head just above it. You can see the full look here: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26638172/
Oh, I'm sure. 95+% of people here have that preference. While I don't mind seeing them, my logical mind says they're a useless appendage on an anthro character. Besides, as I state in the story Amanda's from, being 50% human means certain human genes get preference and taillessness in one of those genes. However, there are those who have heritage traits that cause throwback traits. One of those heritage traits is having a tail. I have one character I created for the story that does have a tail (Penny Wydra: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/26785331/). But, tails are extremely rare.
