The pathfinder for today’s sortie was reviewing his briefing:
-14 freelancers
-1 big gun
He’d heard that he had been assigned a bunny as his building-sized team escort... A lot of others would have complained. Bunnies weren’t known for their bravery or their prowess in battle. He didn’t.
He’d heard it was a she and once again, some would have complained, but he didn’t.
When he saw her step out of the shuttle, in sandals, he could have made a comment, but he didn’t.
He counted his team. Twelve. Missing two. They probably had commented or complained. He was glad he didn’t.

Great stuff! I always love the little excerpts that go with the picture too. It makes me want to look around for little tidbits that are fun to spot and you have an eye for detail and a hand to match that makes for great pieces of art every time. Lots of little details added in that make it special.
