Ok so it has come to my attention that I've never really posted much information about Edgar aside from his old backstory which isn't cannon anymore??? Well anyway he finally has a ref now look at it. Take a gander. Let your eyes become transfixed onto the page.

~The REAL LIFE STUFF (Supa Mario in real loife)~
I first created Edgar in April 2017 when practicing animating an archaeopteryx for my final project in school. I needed to practice animating an archaeopteryx flapping it's wings, something I had never done before. My first attempt was with a more realistic looking white archaeopteryx, with very detailed wings. I didn't like how it came out, and found drawing every single feather took way too long. I then thought of more stylized wings, and drew a stylized black archaeopteryx with sketchy wings (I didn't plan on doing a stylized one in my final piece, this was just to test out how the wings would look like if I drew them like this). I really liked how this came out, and really liked the little cartoon archaeopteryx. Someone mistook him for a raven, so I named him Edgar. Looking back I should have called him Alan, so he could be Alan the Archaeopteryx for cool alliteration and so the naming rhetoric was more subtle, but I was 15. The Edgar that appeared in my final project was more realistic, but in my mind, it was Edgar.
So yeah that's how he exists!!! A funky dude who I made to help me learn how to animate birds.

~The STORY STUFF like THE STUFF THAT ISN'T FROM REAL LIFE~
Edgar is a cartoon. You're probably thinking 'well duh' and in response to your sarcastic jeer I shall grab you by the shirt collar and shake you until your brain is turned into scrambled eggs and your eyes go all googly like one of those little keyrings where you squeeze it and the eyes pop out on stalks hehe funnie eyebal. When I say Edgar is a cartoon, I'm talking he's a cartoon within his universe baby!!! He's made of ink, can squash and stretch, is practically indestructable, and doesn't adhere to the laws of physics. You can tell it was prime Bendy and the Ink Machine time when I made him lol. The one substance that can genuinely hurt him is paint thinner.
Edgar used to have this really edgy backstory based on the song Murders by Musical Mirracle, but I scrapped it and am working on a new backstory for him (this is also why I drew the 'man behind the slaughter' thing, because of a joke made on a Discord server lol). Right now he has no backstory. He just exists.
Edgar can break the 4th wall and can be seen in several different realities, kinda like Wolfie. Unlike Wolfie, he can't time travel, and there is no explanation or reason for his powers other than he's a living cartoon.
He's only small and likes dancing, cooking, and bugs.
