This is really lovely to me, although the top half makes a visual "sense" to my eye that the bottom doesn't. The top is still stylized and iconic as opposed to purely representational, but it feels more...considered, maybe?

Thanks man, I always appreciate your feedback! I see what you mean (its funny, I actually felt like the bottom made more sense than the top). it would be interesting to work into that lower space again. I kept felt like I was transgressing the red in an untenable way. Maybe some light patterning.

I simply love the "phantom limb" concept, wherever it's seen~

Mars Volta employs the phrase:
"Please dismantle all these phantom limbs...
it's the evidence of humans as ornaments!"

Yeah. I have all of their albums. I adore his writing.. like.. his writing seems to be in alignment (for me) with my visual aesthetic.
