Antlers tutorial!
🦌Draw (at least these) three views of the antlers: frontal (a), lateral (b) and dorsal ©.
🦌Take your time to identify the points, curves and structures, and to keep the thing consistent.
🦌Locate the features with auxiliar boxes, divisions and lines (pink/blue).
🦌Antlers usually grow "hugging" an imaginare sphere or egg. Consider this in your design (green). (Mine here is very simplified and flat, I'm still improving - don't use it!)
🦌Draw the head (and/or the skull) too, to have a reference about how to locate the antlers.
With the reference, you can draw a 3D box above the head of your cervine character, locate the points (golden), and structure the antlers. Ideally, you just pick the points and link them, precisely. IRL, all can be very tricky and messy! But the work is worth.
I would like to improve this tutorial in the future, so please feel free to comment!
Have fun!
