Since I just finished the two big pieces I was working on, thought I would try this. As set forth, the rules are media characters only (no OCs) like from movies, books, comics or TV. And keep in mind I'm not a huge anime fan, so any weird obscure anime characters I'd have no clue about might not be the best thing to suggest..
