my DM made a pen of exsplosive runes once, it was in the possession of a serial killer.
it took forever to track down the ex-libarian, who was fired for pratical joke spells hidden in the research section.

Just walk it off. You'll smell like singed fur for a while, but don't worry, you're a gnoll. Gnolls don't smell good anyways. ^_^ If you're a fellow werewolf, then even better because you'll regenerate your wounds!... Oh wait, I'm not sure if that applies to fire damage and burns. o.o Anyways, here, take this salve, rub it into your wounds and you should be good to go! Why not shave your fur off over the burns? Well, yes, you could do that, but would you really want to go around without fur?.... No, it's not sexy, trust me, I know. Somebody put a sleep spell on me and then gave me a poodle cut. It does make it easier to spot ticks and stuff, though... The shaved fur, not the poodle cut. o.O
