As the spawn of another dimension crawled from the pot, tentacles reaching out for fox and rabbit flesh, the battle was joined. The clang of a frying pan and the hollow wooden WHOP of a mixing spoon filled the air. Otherworldly tittering, and screeching loud enough to make both of the heroic roommates wince, came forth as the newly-created spawn got a quick start on trying to take over the world. It would start with Zyla and Izzabella. It would best these superpowered co-eds, and then the entire city!
Purplish appendages whipped and slashed at furry coats and clothing alike. As the fox tried to use her electric powers, her wrist was coiled and she was tossed across the kitchen. When Belle tried to boost the whole monster over her head, it instead elected to boost her - straight out the window! The trans-dimensional cooking crisis spilling out onto the lawn and our heroes didn't even have time to don their shiny duratex costumes!
Leaping from the sill of the window, Zyla slammed an elbow-drop into the writhing purple terror that would have made any wrestler proud. Stunning it long enough for Izzy to apply several well-placed swings of cast-iron skillet. The girls gradually gathering the upper hand until at last the incursion into our would was reduced to a messy, defeated mush.
"Looks like you manifested in the wrong hood, homes." the fox mused.
"Yeah! Guess ya don't win this...thyme?" her lapine friend added.
Zyla shook her head, "...leave puns to the experts, Belle."
As the victorious duo pause to catch their breath, questions still remain: Did they use too much paprika? What was this purple goop they beat out of this thing? And HOW were they going to get it out of their fur??!
