“At least things can’t get any worse.” (poetry)
Aaron Kelley slept in late
He didn’t hear his clock.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
He tripped over a rock.
Aaron Kelley, running late
he had to catch a plane.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
Then it began to rain.
Aaron Kelley, rushing in
He thought he had it made.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
His flight had been delayed.
Aaron Kelley grabbed his phone
And put it by his head.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
His battery was dead.
Aaron Kelley on the plane
at last with time to think.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
The attendant spilled his drink.
Aaron Kelly, flying high
complaining of the sound.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
They crashed into the ground.
Aaron Kelley went to hell,
For he had often sinned.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
The devil sat,
and grinned.
He didn’t hear his clock.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
He tripped over a rock.
Aaron Kelley, running late
he had to catch a plane.
“At least things can’t get any worse.”
Then it began to rain.
