One of the things I like about this page is that the background under the panels tell a complete story of their own, without interferring with the narrative flow.
I also took some liberties with the way I depicted the cook. Al's version was rather different -- I don't remember how exactly, except that he wasn't this short or fat.

I'm fussy about that myself, but have to admit that Adrian not only did a satisfactory job, but *added* to the sum of the parts. If only there were a living to be made in this sort of work, we'd be a good team. But there's only chump-change to be made outside of the odd personal commission.
