The problem is that they seek to combat childhood and adolescent obesity with campaigns to the point of even putting pressure on corporations thinking that a character will fatten someone just by the eyes. I say this because here in my country there is a comic book that was great before, but nowadays the characters are flandering to promote social causes.
Clearly, those groups are morons for thinking that kids will get fat from just looking at a fat character. In this day and age, no one likes a flanderized character. People in both fiction and real world should be judged by what they can do, not how they look. Case and point, Santa Claus is fat and no one's ever censored images of him for it, or exaggerated his trait to make jokes about him being to big and heavy for his sleigh.
