“Like, wtf?”

I knew what this drawing was gonna look like waaay before I put pen to tablet, but it took me forever to get the proportions right. Eventually I caved on drawing from memory, pulled out my camera and traced a picture of myself to get the rough outline. After that though it went pretty smoothly.

I wanted to try some new lighting/shadow effects with this. Besides the general shadows from the lighting of the room, I also wanted to see if I could get some glow from the iPad cast on my face too. Overall I’m pretty happy with the results, even if they took a lot longer than expected to tune the way I wanted.
