a little on yaels backstory is that they are (in current canon) being held in a fighting rink to make money
thats where they live, eat, sleep and fight and to make themself cash

they've always had a knack for fighting, but they never thought they would have to fight for money
they also meet A LOT of partners there, (i stole this from my friend lmao) but if you end up fighting with them they'll make a bet with you

iif you win against them, you get their ass , but if THEY win. your ass is all theirs (if you want it of course its all consensual)

the only thing about this rink is that its not always fair
there will be huge height differences, weapon differences and, in yaels case, drug use
it'll flip a switch in yaels brain that puts them in an apathetic state and in a state where he practitcally feels no pain

so his success rate in getting ass is pretty high
