K, i got some advice for yah. Ikea has some good stuff and it's a lot cheaper about then brio or Thomas. toys-R-us sells there own brand called Imaginarium. look at about $14 - $180 per set depending on what you want. you can buy bulk track in some places.

being I'm a poor boy i looked for sales.

This set in made up of a figure 8 track from wal-mart i got for Christmas a switch track set from ikea and an Imaginarium spiral set from toy-r-us. about $120 worth

Thanks for the advice! Tavi and I are both very into trains and toy trains. We can't afford that big fancy stuff either, so I'll look for the Imaginarium sets. ^^
