Hmm this is my main OC since I've had him since 2012! being developed over so many years ! i have two other characters who are OC but this boi is my OC and Fursona!

Yes, natural-looking characters do make sense! I don't tend to work on that many but someone commissioned me for this cat a while ago and he doesn't have a streak of turqoise or hot pink or lurid yellow on him! (the art isn't mine by the way, the artist came up with that. I wrote the analysis).

Yeah, but i liked the way the colours came together on my main sona, but some people complained and etc etc and some artists didn't draw colourful characters the best so I made natural ones c:

People complained? Your 'sona, your rules! So what do you do with the more natural two? Are they reflections of you too or are they more for a story or something like that?

Ah, okay! Well, if it's any help, I specialise in writing character profiles for peoples' 'sonas and OCs. Here's the character profile section of my gallery if you're curious! I'm not sure if this would appeal to you as someone who likes to commission things but people tend to have a blast getting to know their characters with me! I'm a trainee therapist so can use my training to work out the nuances of how a character ticks.

Oh hecc thats cool :D I'm a writer myself, currently finishing my university script for a film I'm working on. But never really ever thought of getting a character profile before, since I don't really imagine anything dramatic or anything particularly interesting with my characters x3 I mean sure they all represent some parts of me I guess, but more of an organised way c: rather than all being bottled in one I split them into respective bodies to represent each aspect. But also I've never done therapy before really either ^^;

Yeah, they can be great for enriching characters' backgrounds. I worked with someone on a whodunnit a few months ago and it helped her work out how the characters were connected.
