I feel like I should have done this quite a while ago, and this might be why I am having such a hard time finding beta readers. This is the first chapter in the book I wish to publish someday.

Does the book really need to be about heavy characters? Honestly, big round cartoon animals are kind of like comfort food for me. They tend to be the characters I like the most, so I have the easiest time creating good characters when they are big, bulky and have a slight soft side to them, or even just round and huggable.

Don't let that deter you, however. This is NOT a fat fur book. This book is meant to be enjoyable regardless of whether you like anthro characters or heavy characters or not. I also want this book to be enjoyable by all age groups, which is another big reason I want help with beta reading.

... However, if you ABSOLUTELY can't enjoy a story unless the heroes are human, this is not going to be the book for you.
