A relatively quick speedpaint idea I suddenly had late one night in quarantine NEETlife and decided to smash out. In the middle of a long hump on foot, Razor takes a moment to contemplate the ironic beauty of one of the blood-soaked countries the team operates in.

Jeeebus this is a bloody gorgious looking speedpaint! The totally black tree in the background in contrast to the warm sun is the cornerstone of what makes this drawing absurdly great looking.
The tree has such crisp and sharp detail to its outline vs the warm glow really makes for an appealing sight. Adding the outline of Razor and Spook is just the icing on the cake against some rather lackluster highlights of the grassy savana. The grass isn't that bad it just looks a bit poor compared to bloody good the sun and tree contrasts together.
overall bloody good work

Thanks very much! I had the sudden realisation that there's a lot of pretty light in a sunset and not a whole lot of detail that needs to be drawn accurately xD
Glad you like the silhouettes! I wondered if I should add more highlights to them, but I think I like the contrast. I did this in CSP and I realised that I didn't really know how I would approach grass without all my photoshop brushes. I tried the watercolour brush, but yeah, it's kinda blurry.
Thanks again! :D
