experiment. at school, when we started with watercolours, our painting teacher had us try painting on a variety of surfaces, most of which I wouldn't have considered suitable for watercolour. with that in mind I gave a shot to bristol, and it was quite fun to work with. just gotta be mindful about the amount of water in play.
