“Why do you never speak?” Dreamily asked her sister. Hush lifted her head, giving her elder sister a small shrug. Dreamily rolled her silver eyes as she flicked her scarred bear ear. “Why do you never try…?” she demanded, Hush responding with another shrug.
“You know, your quietude and dreaminess don’t exactly HELP your image.” Dreamily stated coldly, Hush staring vacantly at her crescent moon adorned tail-ring. She refused to lift her gaze to her glory hungry sister, simply uttering in a whisper. “I...couldn’t really care less, Dream. Glory just isn’t what I want...I just want to live quietly, no nuisance, no nonsense...you’d be wiser to save your starlight for someone more worthy.”
“Hush, you are worthy, you just don’t try!” Dreamily insisted, grabbing her younger sister’s wrist and forcing her eyes to lift to her own. “You are the youngest of us, the young are strong, why don’t you try?”
“Nothing works! Nothing I do works! All I can do is heal! I’m useless in Nightmares!”
“Then GET. BETTER.”
“What do you think I’ve been doing?!” Hush barked, tugging her hand away, her ears flattening against her head. “Just go and find your glory...I’m fine. Really, I’m better off becoming a Royal, then at least I have a use.” she growled at her elder sister, turning with a huff.
