Turns out, sheep really like me. It was deeply weird, I was walking around the edge of the field so I didn't disturb the flock when I heard hooves behind me. I turned around to see a couple of youngish sheep following me at a distance of about half a metre. Weird. I carried on walking only to hear more hoofbeats. Long story short, by the time I got across to the gate the entire flock of sheep was following me, bleating.
