UNFORTUNATELY, DIMAS, YOU ARE WRONG.
What Dimas is referring to is the trend Adrian has of giving him gifts (primarily boxees of chocolates, for some reason), all the while coming up with some transparent excuse. Adrian is an ostrich -- he can't just say "YOU ARE THE BEST EVER", he has to say "UH THESE TRUFFLES ARE ICKY-TASTING SO YOU EAT THEM". (We call that behavior ostrich-like because it's like when ostriches stick their heads in the ground and pretending nothing's happening.)
Adrian's, like, fourteen or fifteen here, as opposed what he ususally is, thirteen~ And this is the second birthday thing I did for
Katherine.
