For one of our illustrations for school we had to pick a fragment from one of the given texts and use it as a starting point for our illustration.
The fragment I picked was about a woman being at the lake, where a man comes but she drowns and he can't do anything about it and since I absolutely love slavic mythology, I wanted to depict this from a man's perspective - where a woman is already dead, she turns into one of the slavic demons - utopiec and tells him to follow her.
In the illustration you can see just the man's hand reaching out to her.
