It's been a while since I've subitted something in traditional media. This is a piece I completed at my art class, a large, acrylic-on-canvas version of what I was doing in Illustrator late last year. I intentionally kept most of the painting flat color and line and shaded in just the body of the kirin dragon here. The hair and "whiskers" of the peice follow art nouveau whiplash lines as does the invisible eye-lines of the piece. And the dragon as a whole follows the spiral portion of the golden mean.

Overall I find this painting has an effect somewhere between pop-art and graffiti art, I might experiment with this more in the future.
