Thank you!! I kept debating over and over again whether or not I wanted a strong reflection on the pond's surface.. That would mean the two characters are reflected in the water, but I chose not to show it at that angle. I felt that might make the picture too busy, since a lot is sort of going on already. I dunno! What do you think? XD;
Oh, oh! Well, I use watercolors from a tube. I started off with a nice "pocket-size" set of watercolor cakes. Once the color started to get low, I began to replace it with tubed watercolors. The consistency is a lot nicer, thicker, yummy. @o@

I think choosing not to show a true reflection was a good decision, since it makes the characters be more centered and the focus of the attention. Plus the pond is damn pretty the way you did it, hahaha.

The atmosphere is incredible and look at all the details with the grass and leafs and flowers, JFC! That vivid green is more or less exactly like I imagined. And your interpretation of the characters is wonderful too, glad you didn't just basically turned them into wolves or dogs or the like!
