Hmm, that almost looks like tears in the last panel.
Combine that with how he seems to be actively trying to separate himself from his former human self, and I think that this rant sounds more like a mix of panic and uncertainty. With a good amount of driving himself to the other extreme viewpoint wise.

In this situation, I kind of agree with Oreo. It sounds like people are going to become latex at some point.
Also, how much "human" is still left of him? I would argue he still has a lot. Much of their being before this has been avoiding becoming *them*. Now that they are one of *them*, they're partially happy they are finally of similar species.

I feel like he is having an existential crisis or something. He is putting a show on like a kid who is pretending that they don't care, but they really do.
I can't see this ending like he is truly gone, but him just accepting he has lost his "humanity" and all this is just a front.
