Yea, I am old enough to have had a pair of those roller-skates in the 70s and still have them stash somewhere.
What I can tell you is that one has to possess insane ability to keep from falling when using those at high speed.
If I saw a pair of roller blades, I would have categorized this a plausible but with those four wheel things. No way!that

Yea, I know. For some reason, the rest of my message had vanished in the ether. Here is the missing part.
That kind of speed with these is quite impossible, but since it's a cartoon where the impossible is possible, let just pretend that the character is very, very dexterous. Might have been a bit more plausible with a skateboard which can go at much higher speed and stay stable compared with those... That was my 5-cent input based on my use of those in the late 70s early 80s. BTW I still have them stash away in the basement, and my nephew who came her for a visit last year, he found them. He could not believe how unstable those were compared to his Rollerblade.
While at it, I will say that I like the drawing style use in this comic and seeing all those old cars and buses. It's the 80s all over again. :-P

I've yet to be able to stand on skates, never got the knack. I can only do amazing stuff with cars, motorcycles, and bikes, me and body-powered stuff just never caught on to each other, I am amazed at other people's mad skills. And your ability to draw them by the way! ;)
