Sombaug's one who's had a few fairly substantial design elements changed compared to his first iteration years ago. On top of that, in the last couple weeks he got a significant plot relevance overhaul that favorably upended something that's been in place nearly since the start of this worldbuilding back around 2005-2006! Thankfully as far as last year's book is concerned, it seems like I kept info generalized to each character enough that it didn't mean I retroactively messed up any details surrounding that information about him or the other previously involved character, hahahaha.
