Fishing Lessons
"Just keep your eyes on the bobber..."
Simple instructions, pretty easy to follow. You were pretty thrilled when CJ mentioned he'd be open for some one-on-one fishing lessions around noon the next day, and you readily listened when he showed you how to properly cast your line out and had you do the same with his professional fishing rod.
Then you knew the next part of the fishing experience: Just sit down and watch your bobber for any sign of nibbling. You don't know how long you've been staring at the red and white sphere, but while at first it was somewhat tedious, it got... easier to do as time went on.
And it helped that when you were starting to get bored and fidgety, CJ was there to instruct you. "Keep those peepers on that bobber out there..."
Not that you needed it at this point: Something about how it swayed in the waves captivated you, made it hard to think about how boring it was getting. You found yourself slouching forward as you felt a swelling sensation on your tailbone, your feet feeling wet even though you were pretty sure you kept them above the-
Keep your eyes on the bobber, remember his instructions. You licked your lips some, as much to keep your focus as to feel your front incisors growing some... Something about that seemed off, but the bobber almost looked like it moved a bit, so you keep your eyes peeled on it.
You feel CJ squeezing your shoulder a bit as you smiled placidly, eyes focused on that swaying bobber in the distance. This was actually starting to be a bit relaxing. You absently kicked your bare feet in the water some as you hear a bit of a whapping sound behind you, feeling the water flow around your webbed toes some. You don't pay too much attention to it, keeping your eyes on that bobber.
You barely even hear the words again from your partner, some barely-hidden delight evident behind their calm words. "Keep your eyes on that bobber, CJ. You liking this so far?"
"Y-Yeah... Nyuk..."
...Yeah, fishing's niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice...
I think this took me about 7 hours to do? 2 for the sketch, 3 for the lines and color and then 2 more for the background, over two nights? It was definitely worth it.
Ever since I saw some TF art with CJ involved from https://www.furaffinity.net/user/cruxatronic]a friend of mine[/url] who goes by
cruxatronic, I've been wanting to draw a Clone TF with them. Now that it's done, I'm pretty happy with it.
Pulled from my Twitter, where I upload my art as it's finished.
