A proper price sheet at last! It's only taken me, like, however long I've been doing art. Hm.
There's a couple things I want to clarify:
1) Note that there is no flat colors option, all full-color pieces will include complementary shading and highlights (sketches may or may not as well, that's something I haven't decided on yet). This is because I need to strip away any excuses for not practicing with proper light value whenever possible. It does mean that I have to put the price point a tad higher than I have in the past, but I think that's a decent trade off considering the end product will be much better.
2) I am indeed available for comics for the first time ever. This is going to be a huge leap for me, and not something that I plan to take on more than once at a time. I didn't list a price for them because it would inevitably be a big fat "it depends". The detail level prices are a good starting point but there's so much more that would go into a quote for a comic, so if such a thing interests you I encourage you to reach out. I won't bite!
3) I don't have a solid limit on slots, but I won't want to take more than a handful of projects at a time. I don't realistically think I will reach my workload limit at any given time but if such a time comes, I'll be sure to post a journal with specifications.
4) Extra Characters cost 1/2 the base price each and are those who would be considered full subjects, ie. any character that is big enough to require detail and attention to draw. Tiny figures and/like small props are included in the price.
5) If you are positive if I would be open to doing something I implore you to reach out and ask, I'm very open about what I will and will not be comfortable drawing. I will never judge or look down upon an idea. The absolute worst you will get from me is a polite No Thank You, and an offer to compromise something else. Communication is key in all things!
6) I will only ask for payment once a client OK's a concept sketch. I will provide a WIPs all along the process, usually at the end of each step (sketch, rough lines, finished lines, flat colors, finishing touches) and will of course allow modifications--within reason. Please don't ask me to completely redraw a character's head after I've already inked and gotten the base colors down :(
7) I usually stream my progress on commissions. If you would like a notification of when I go live on Picarto for these sessions feel free to follow me there, or ask if I can prod you over telegram/discord/steam/notes/etc whenever I'm planning to work. If you would like a private stream, I can make that happen over Discord.
That's that. I'd like to take this opportunity to once again thank everybody for allowing me to reach a point where I feel comfortable formally opening for commissions like this. Even if you don't want to or are unable to commission me any time soon thanks to all this crazy stuff going on in the world right now, I still appreciate your patronage. Don't worry, I'll still be doing request streams now and then!
