Man I'm gonna miss my Win 2000 setup. I had it totally tricked out featuring those two beauties. I mean, totally: not just the desktop background, but boot splash (as you can see), dialog windows, even the half-boot screen where it did the checkdisk run during bootup. I'll have to see if I can make XP sit up and bark like I could make 2k do it. I'm not very optimistic at the moment, but one never knows.

It was such a labor of love, I even re-laid the fonts in Photoshop so they wouldn't look jaggy. 'DE' stands for Dragon Edition, by the way. Even though the characters are offically gargoyles.

So I'll get this off my chest now: You're going to find I'm not a very good artist in the traditional sense. I'm much better at being a 'hack artist', quite literally in hacking up other people's stuff and rearranging it. I have several things like that I'm planning to put up, so stay tuned.
