I'm trying out a new technique to make my lines nice and clear when scanned. Pretty much you draw all of the under lying structures in pencil crayon (I like red) and then filter the color out in photoshop.
Crisp pencil lines make me happy in my pants.
Also, lol, that hair line.

Them some nice eyes.
I usually just sketch lighter and end up correcting my lines later on if I mean for any portion of it to stand out. Then again, most of my sketches are meant to be seen in person (if at all) and so I don't really see a reason to have them correctable for digital purposes.

Mainly it's because I'm considering getting into doing comic book art and I need my lines clean enough for possible inkers to be able to interpret properly without having to pull out a lightbox and re-do the whole page in the same medium, but cleaner. So mainly it's for time saving and practice for the portfolio to a few companies.
