These two little things are my ESP8266-01 microcontrollers I got from Amazon really cheap to do some simple net stuff with. I was thinking of using the two GPIO pins for stuff like blinking an LED or maybe a PWM synth, but then I realized that this paired with my arduino and raspberry pi Zero Ws could make a quite useful cluster of machines if paired right.

So far my plan is to learn more C++ for the Arduino and these little things and figure out what I can do with them, in the end I'm probably just going to use one of these as a wireless network hub and have my two Pi boards connect to it as a network controller and have my laptop SSH into them and control them for a game I might end up finishing someday?

Added, it's text based, but I want to program DnD with a DM and players into a raspberry pi.
