Part of a trade with
cornershop and HER awesome character Nimade. I hope I did him justice without messing up too much.

This is fabulous. My one critique is that the body seems to be flowing directly from the head; maybe adding a light grey wash, or smudging out the details a little, would push it further into the background and make it look less like something coming off from the head.
Definitely one of the more creative pieces from all these trades.
The way you cropped the picture/the composition in general makes this picture very interesting and pleasing to look at. I also like how Nimade is looking at something outside of the frame, something that makes this look like a crop from a bigger scene.
(And I don’t mind if you call me a dude. I’ve been called worse and as we all know, there are no girls on the Internet so I don’t blame you if you thought I was a manly man!)
The way you drew Nimade himself is awesome. I love his expression, how he almost looks hesitant with that pulled-up lip and that intense glare. Not a common expression for him, but a very welcome one. The shading definitely adds to the mood (gosh, I love how the light falls on his face like that) too, makes the picture look a bit… mystical. I don’t know if it’s the right word, but you get what I mean. In any case, the colours are delicious and I want to taste them!
Thank you so much for the trade Bacillus. I love the outcome!

No problemo. I'm sorry if I come off as overly excited about every little thing drawn for me. I just love the fact that people would draw my creations and sometimes I find it hard to not type a mini essay in response. I don’t expect people to be as verbose in return, of course :)
