Eventually, the young speedster took a different route to the south, bringing him in a more arid environment. Within half a minute Sonic went from a cold snowy region to a hot desert. The heat was certainly strong, but it wouldn't be our blue hero suffering from it. Poor little Tails was about to endure more torment from the gigantic foot above. Just a few miles of running in the desert and sweat was already beginning to form around the giant boy's foot. It didn't take long until it affected Sonic's shoe prisoner. With one stomp alone the tiny fox was covered in the hedgehog's overwhelming liquid. Every stomp from that point onward was like a wet yet heavy pillow beating up the bug boy underneath. Even the broad insole was beginning to adapt as it also soaked up Sonic's foot sweat. With the entire surrounding covered in the blue god's footy liquid, Tails was about to get bullied even harder. His entire form was squashed and slouched around between the wet fleshy ceiling and the clammy insole. Meanwhile, the atmosphere in the shoe was also suffering from the hedgehog's speedy movement. The air was getting thinner with each step he took. Equally, the temperature rised to unbearable levels. Tails was not only hyperventilating due to the lack of fresh air but also because of the horrifying experience. He could only scream out in pain for a short time before running low on oxygen. If it wasn't for these inhuman conditions, the tiny inventor would have certainly enjoyed the time in his big brother's shoe. To his bad fortune, the blue hedgehog couldn't feel his shrunken friend inside of his shoe. Sonic never would have tortured his own friends when being fully aware of it, but right now he was completely kept in the dark about the fox's tiny misadventure. And who could possibly tell when he would stop running? Without the blue giant's awareness, the ant-sized boy could be stuck down there for the rest of the day.
