My first render that went through a little bit of experimentation in an image editing software. I would like to get some opinions on this. Should I consider editing all my renders from now on?

whatever you were doing before looked great. Did you just brighten the image?

Also tbh most renders benefit from some post processing in photo editing software.

I mostly turned up the saturation. Also, this has been post processed. After comparing it to the original I noticed how pale Sonic is without the additional saturation. But I might just be bias here.

Ah, okay. I think upping the saturation is a good idea if you think the characters look a little pale. They are toony characters so you want them to look bright and lively.
