One can find all sorts of interesting things in the Shambles. A couple centuries of accumulated space-junk contains many hidden treasures. Even actual books!

Here you see Kikira, a HC SVNT DRACONES character I am currently playing. She is an exonymph, an insect person, which (as far as in-universe rules and laws go) shouldn't actually exist. She is living on huge collection of space junk and broken spaceships called the Shambles and is part of a group tasked to protect the residents of a massive spaceship that has been parked there decades ago, as well as a colony of exonymphs.

Kikira is a somewhat reserved person. She's still trying to find her place as she's not a native of the Shambles and found herself having to be a mediator between the ship and the colony. Something which she unfortunately is not very good at.


When I learned that iPoke was opening for commissions again, I just HAD to try and get one. And I was fortunate. Of course, that lead to the question of what to have him draw. Mikia is usually my go-to for that. But iPoke has done a lot of art for Messi's sci-fi RPG HC SVNT DRACONES. Of course, I have plenty of characters there to. But really, a picture of the one I am currently playing would make the most sense. Fortunately iPoke felt up to the challenge of drawing an insect character, and this is the result.

I love it. The background is great, so is the thoughtful pose, the use of all four arms, the outfit... everything! iPoke really went above and beyond. I couldn't be more happy with this picture.
