I just read a story called Burning Silk where Hornet accidentally lights the Scarlet Flame instead of Ghost, and the grudging (and a little bit extorted) relationship of the Ritual slowly blooms into a romance between a merciless princess of the spiders and a phobovoric (is that an actual term for feeding on fear?) moth god.
Highlights include:
Hornet’s Needle being infused by Grimm to feed on fear
Brumm being awesome
God Tamer getting... acquainted with the blade of the Grimmtooth
The White Lady “not being able to attend” (read it and find out what I mean)
Hornet being a protective big sister
Grimm X Hornet, of course (is that called Grimmnet or Horgrimm?)
