Title just sorta seemed appropriate to me. Experimentin' with some different coloring method and scales. Was meant to be a quick thing.

These "quick things" often are a spark of inspiration and end up becoming full-blown projects (equally fun). Nothing's better than a "quick thing" that works out right, except, like, a big, slow thing that works out right.

It's like a full time reward for part time work. While I do have some things I don't like about this, such as the lighting not being pushed as far as it coulda been, the successful attempt with the scales has certainly been worth it.

I love the scales and shading in this...and the fact that your character is seriously one of the most well-designed and interesting ones that I've seen doesn't hurt matters. :)
