The shifting unpredictable lights of a far away pole reveals, only for a moment, a phantom glimpse of a winged wolf, slightly windswept in the flat, barren landscape. The ever moving lights will change again, and, like ethereal brevity of the northern lights, this creature will disappear in a veil of darkness played upon light.
This was intended to be yet another ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) but my hand slipped as I was cuttig the card to its 3.5 by 2.5 inch dimensions and I ended up with less that 2.5 inches on one side. I challenged myself to color a piece only with marker, so I did! The more I learn about markers the more comfortable I feel with them. Maybe I will venture into watercolors next. I used silver paint pen and green glitter pen for some highlights.
